"Granny's Treasures" Still Life

"Granny's Treasures" $750 SOLD
18 1/2 x 24 1/2 Watercolor on Arches paper
Alright Everybody, Let's have a drum roll! It is finally finished and I love it and hope you do,too. The items in the still life are mostly from my family, so they are special to me. This was a very difficult painting to do because of reflections, patterns, etc. Just keeping fresh unmuddy colors was a biggee. I am really pleased with the wash board and I love the reflections in the old crock. Hope to hear what you think about it.
Now, I'm ready to do the give-away painting, so will be starting it this afternoon. I think you will like it, so be sure to register as a Follower, so you'll be entered in the contest to win it. The reason I want you to register with Google as my Follower is because I have had over 2,000 hits on my blog, yet only eleven of you have registered! It only takes a minute---there is really nothing to it.
Click on this painting to see the details. Hope you like it. Thanks for looking, Egretta

  1. Wow! This painting is amazing. From my experience watercolour can be extremely difficult to paint detail and you've done a brilliant job. It's lovely. Love the reflections and the quilt is beautiful.
