There is no duck prettier than the Mallard! I want to thank Mark Willis at http://marksvegplot.blogspot.com/ for allowing me to paint from his beautiful photograph he posted on his blog. The color of the water is so captivating with the duck's coloring. I just had to paint it! Of course, I took some artistic liscense---one does not try to replicate exactly a photograph, but the essence is captured and I am pleased with this effort. I hope you like it, too. Your comments are welcome.
