Painting peppers

I have started a watercolor of peppers. At the grocery, I found a huge bag of assorted sweet peppers. They are so colorful, many shades of red, yellow and orange. In the past few days, I have not had much painting time, but even if other things take up most of my time, I manage to get in a few minutes of painting time.
Ignore the blue tape--I am using a watercolor block and taped it to the size a want. Keep watching for the finished painting.
I would like to hear from other artists who have trouble finding time to paint because of life's important nuisances such as preparing your tax return! Wouldn't it be sweet if we had a personal assistant to take care of life's little details, so we could paint uninterrupted?

  1. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished article! Maybe I will even learn from you how to paint? (No, I think I have perhaps left it a bit too late in life to become an artist!)

  2. It's looking good already. The peppers make a great subject.
