Egg tempera is fun to do, although quite different from watercolors or acrylics or oils. It is egg
yolk mixed with pigment and is a very old and enduring medium. To apply the paint, it is best to work in
layers, sort of building the painting layer by layer, as it is transparent. When completely dry, it is very hard. Click on this to see it closer.
Very pretty and peaceful looking.
