"Old Irish House"

"Old Irish House"

8 x 10 Acrylic on canvas, framed

$185

Painted from photos and sketches from Norther Ireland, the courtyard around this old Manor house was so relaxing and full of plants and flowers. My daughter and I had a fun day of painting here, complete with a healthy lunch from the owners' gardens.

  1. Lovely painting! I like the roof colors and the window. A pleasure to visit your blog Egretta.

  3. That painting certainly has lots of "atmosphere". Some of the Irish houses are quite stark - almost spartan - don't you think? Have you ever been to Wales? You would find lots of painting-subjects there!

  4. Such a pretty painting and so Irish looking. From Mark's comment, sounds like a trip to Wales is needed next!
