"A Cotswold Sketchbook"

I am posting a peek at a very beautiful book I acquired. It is from artist, Lesley Holmes, A Cotswold Sketchbook. Lately, I have been researching the Cotswolds in England thinking about a possible painting holiday there in the summer. Have any of you other artists out there been to the Cotswolds. Or anyone who follows my posts. I would love to have any information you may have.

I would love to paint, sketch and take photographs there! This book certainly depicts many lovely homes and interesting and quaint places there, as well as beautiful plants and flowers.

I look forward to hearing from you!

  3. Just looked up the book on Amazon...wow, it's quite precious. There's another one by Delderfield that is less hard on the pocketbook, have you seen it?

  4. No, but I will look up the one by Delderfield. I lucked up on Lesley Holmes book by scrolling all the ones offered on Amazon, I got it quite reasonable. It supposedly had a little damage, but I could not see it! Keep looking...you might find one, too. I have been looking at Cotswold town images on the net...gorgeous.
