Well, I found this rolled up canvas in the back of the closet where it has resided for years! I did this many years ago, probably in the sixties! Since I haven't been painting much in a couple of weeks due to Christmas and all the activities and company in the house, I thought I would post some older things. This must have been from my imagination as I don't recall anyone sitting for this. Interesting how the light is from one side and then she disappears into the shadows. What do you think? She looks very sad. Must be a mournful tune she's playing!

No one I know! But I did paint it during the "hippie" movement! Interesting to look back, but when one is very young, I think one sees things differently. If I painted her now, she would be joyful and be loving life!
