There are some gorgeous chickens out there, and my friend has several really pretty hens. I can't remember the name of this one, but I remember her pet name for this one and it is "Henny Penny", maybe from that little story we listened to as children. Anyway, she is a beauty and would look good with my last post.....a pair of hens! Click on it to see details.

Hi Mark, good to have you back! Wish I could keep chickens, but the wild animals around here would get them unless cooped up! So will settle for just painting them!
ReplyDeleteHi egretta, this hen looks like a Light Sussex, an old English type I think, I used to keep some when in the UK. Like the new acrylic, lots of work there!
