The Cathedral Quilt I am working on in the large still life. I haven't gotten alot done because of other things I've had to do that has cut into my painting time, but it is coming along nicely, and I like what I have done. To paint the quilt, I first lay in a very light wash of Cobalt blue with just a hint of color. Then I use Burnt Sienna mixed with cobalt and sometimes a bit of Raw Sienna to make shadows and refine the quilt.
Don't forget to sign up as a Follower to be entered in the WIN A PAINTING CONTEST. Scroll down to read about it. Click on the quilt to see the details.
Thanks, everyone for looking at my blog!
