"Amaryllis"

I'm posting another little 3 x3 painting, perfect for a desk or bookshelf. Each one of these little paintings comes with a wooden easel, too.

The Amaryllis is a bulbous lily and I took a photo of a bloom at Heathcote Botanical Gardens last Feb. They bloom in late winter, bearing several large funnel-shaped flowers at the top. I see plants forced for Christmas. They are fragrant, too, and at Heathcote they are planted in large groups---very pretty. I hope you enjoy these little works of art!
