This painting still is not finished! I still have some details in the fish and the water has to be glazed overtop the fish, which means more drying time. The problem with oils, in my opinion, is the slowness of drying, but some artists prefer that. I am considering doing a similar painting in watercolor or egg tempera and compare the results. Anyway, maybe tomorrow it will be finished. Stay tuned!
