"Hollyhock"

This hollyhock bloom was so much fun to paint! I had very pleasant memories of the hollyhocks blooming in the alley behind our house when I was a child and how I made necklaces from them and also ballerina flower dolls. Does anyone else remember doing that? I hope this painting makes you recall some pleasant memories.
