I had this painting started before my holiday to England and Ireland, so I wanted to finish it before starting the cottage and village series I'm planning. This little shed is at Heathcote Botanical Garden in Ft. Pierce, Florida and I took a few artists' liberties with color and added the fence, etc. That is the fun of painting...to make the painting yours....to add what you need to add to make the composition pleasing. To me, this is a very inviting painting...makes you want to go up the garden path and see what is in the shed! I love the tropical foliage and colors. Hope you enjoy it ,too.
