This demo for my class was of rocks....looking down on them with a red feather for interest. My students don't copy my paintings, but I demonstrate a technique and talk about how they can use the technique and yet make their painting individually theirs. It is quite amazing how my beginning students are showing their uniqueness and developing their understanding of watercolors! In this painting, I was showing them how to do dry brush work.
